Referral Policy

A. Introduction

By participating in the BattleBucks Referral Programme (the ‘Programme’ herein defined as the referral scheme operated by BattleBucks which allows User to refer new users and earn Rewards as specified in the Section D of this Referral Policy), you agree to comply with the ‘Referral Terms’; the Programme and the Referral Terms are collectively referred to as the ‘Referral Policy’. This Referral Policy governs your access to and use of the referral features on the Platform and/or the use of our Services. Your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the Referral Policy. BattleBucks reserves the right to, from time to time, amend and modify this Programme. The User acknowledges and accepts that they may also be subject to receiving periodic communications from BattleBucks related to their obligation to comply with this Return Policy. It is the sole responsibility of the User to stay informed of any updates, or policy amendments or modifications issued by BattleBucks, as more particularly detailed in Section G (Amendments and modifications to the Terms or the BattleBucks Policies) of the Terms.

Non-compliance with these Principles invites penalties depending on the grade of the misconduct as set forth in Section D (Misconduct and Penalty Matrix) of the Rules of Conduct.

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.


B. Eligibility

  • The Programme is available only to users aged 18 years or older. Users below 18 may participate in the Programme only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
  • Employees of the Company and its affiliates are [eligible/ not eligible] to participate.

C. Referral Process

  • The User may generate a unique referral link and/ or referral code (‘Referral Link’) via [insert], which you can share with friends and prospective new users.
  • The referred User must enter the Platform via your referral code or use your referral link during registration to qualify as a successful referral.
  • A referral is considered valid only when the referred user completes the registration process and creates a verified account. Referrals from suspended, banned, or previously registered accounts shall not be eligible.
  • The Company uses integrated tracking systems within the Platform and/or the Services to record referrals. Each referral is linked to your account and will be verified through our tracking and validation process.

D. Referral Rewards

  1. All Rewards granted under this Programme shall remain subject to the Terms. The levels assigned to the User are purely for Rewards and recognition purposes, having no monetary value or ownership rights, and do not represent any form of currency, property, or tradable asset.
  2. Subject to successful referral validation under Section C and completion of the reward milestones set out below by the Referred User, the following rewards are presently contemplated. These are subject to the Store Terms and any applicable Store Policies, and will be granted as follows:
  • Signup Reward: Upon successful registration by a Referred User using a valid Referral Link, both the Referrer and the Referred User shall receive BB Coins (or such other virtual in-game credits as designated by the Company) in an amount as may be determined by the Company.
  • Gameplay Milestone Reward: Upon the Referred User completing the specified number of games or tournaments on the Platform, both the Referrer and the Referred User shall receive Gems (or such other virtual in-game credits as designated by the Company), as defined under the Terms.
  • Purchase-Based Reward: If the Referred User makes a qualifying purchase (as determined by the Company in its sole discretion from time to time) of any physical item or gift card using Grind Gold (GG) (or such other virtual in-game credits as designated by the Company), the Referrer shall receive GG, (or such other virtual in-game credits as designated by the Company) based on the value of such purchase, the amount and manner of calculation of which shall be determined and notified by the Company from time to time.

3.The amount and value of any Reward shall be determined and communicated by the Company from time to time and may differ across campaigns, user segments, or promotional offers. The specific Rewards and structure are subject to change at the Company’s sole discretion, without any prior notice to the User.

4.All such Rewards shall be subject to limits, including caps on the reward amount per referral and the maximum number of referrals permitted per User, as may be determined and communicated by the Company from time to time.

5.Rewards will be credited only after the Referred User has completed all necessary steps and conditions prescribed under this Referral Policy, including account verification (if applicable). The Company reserves the right to verify eligibility and withhold or revoke rewards in cases of fraud, misuse, or policy violation.

6.The Company reserves the right to modify reward values, milestones, caps, or eligibility criteria at any time. The Company may also impose a maximum limit on the number of referrals or total rewards a User may earn within a specified period.

7.No reward shall be granted in respect of any registration or purchase that is cancelled, refunded, reversed, or found to be in breach of this Policy or the Terms.


E. Misuse of Referrals

  1. Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the referral process, including but not limited to using fake accounts, multiple registrations, or any automated means, is strictly prohibited.
  2. Each new user may only be referred by one existing user. In cases of overlapping referrals, the Company will determine eligibility based on its internal criteria.

The Company, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any referrals and withhold Rewards if fraudulent, misleading, or abusive practices are detected. In cases of misuse or abuse of the Programme, BattleBucks may suspend or terminate your referral privileges, any associated Rewards, and may reverse any Rewards already credited, at its sole discretion. In addition, the Company reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or discontinue any referral reward, offer, or promotion at any time, and no User shall acquire any vested right in such Rewards.


F. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

If you believe you have been unfairly treated, harmed, or have encountered User behavior that violates this Referral Policy, you have the right to raise a complaint or grievance in accordance with Section M (Grievance Redressal Mechanism) and Section P (Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Agreement) of the Terms.
